The Story of Angut

I've decided to get this blog up and running again, So begin with here's a bit about what I have been up to. Around the beginning of this year I was given a grant from Taike - Arts Promotion Centre Finland, to print my first graphic novel. It's About Angut, an inuit boy from Greenland who is placed in a fosterhome in Denmark. It's based on a real encounter I had in a train some 12 years ago, and the story this man told me. More than anything, I consider this story to be about the techniques of exploitation and racism. Whether or not I have succeeded, must be up to the reader.

I am currently waiting for it to come back from the printer. The planned release is January 2017.
